What Makes a Picture Nutty?
The Nutty Pictures collection is home to images that are hard to categorize but unmistakably Found Image Press. None of these were ironic when they were made. The laugh is never at the expense of the people (or puppies) in the pictures. The joke is that time passed, and now we get to see all that earnestness with fresh eyes.
That is the appeal. These images don't need a caption to be funny, and they don't need a holiday to be relevant. They are a little strange, a little sweet, and entirely human (or canine).
Why the Weird Stuff Sells
If thirty years of business has taught us anything, it’s that the nutty card gets picked up first. It's the one a customer holds while giggling to show a friend on the other side of the store.
